The Abbey

I had an amazing night at The Abbey in Santa Cruz, CA. It is a cafe that promotes Art and Music with a vintage touch. "Daemen City Lights" and "Silje Nes" from Norway did a great job with the live music.



I definitely enjoyed the music, the art, and my hot tea. All in all, it was a terrific night with my great friend Martha.

Aarontine's Day

Happy Thursday! Thought I should share with you about Aarontine's Day. The husband was sick on Valentine's Day so we didn't get to do anything but he made it up last weekend with so-called "Aarontine's Day." It was so sweet and cute! We hung out together the whole day, we had Thai food for lunch - yummy! And he prepared a candle light dinner with steak and corn. The husband did such a great job with the steak - sooooooooo good! Here's a peak of our Aarontine's dinner...
I got a gift card from UO - my favorite place to shop and the cutest card. It was such a wonderful time! Big thanks to the husband! MUAH!

Happy Friday!

I am so happy that it's Friday! It has been a stressful week at work...blah...not worth talking about. However, the weather was awesome this week. We had some sunshine and the snow is slowly melting. It's so ironic how I get so happy and excited when it's 30 degrees out in Minnesota and all I wear was a t-shirt and a sweater. Back in California 30 degrees is considered freezing cold and I would bundle up with layers and layers of clothes. You only bundle out in Minnesota when it's zero and below - burrrr!

This is what I wore during the 30 degrees weather:)

Pretty crazy. Have a wonderful long weekend - for those who get President's day off! I do :)
