The Royal Wedding

After hearing so much about the Royal Wedding I've decided to watch the "William & Kate" movie online and the movie turns out really great. It reminds me of those Disney princess movies but this movie is even better because it's based on a true event. I didn't stay up to watch the Royal Wedding but I'm tempted to watch it online now :) I did take a look at the wedding pictures and it's royally beautiful!

The Princess is lovely and the wedding dress is overwhelmingly stunning!

It's breath taking every time I look at this picture of Westminster Abbey. My thought: if this place seem so amazing...imagine how heaven would be like...100 times better!

I've been listening to this cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" over and over and over again... It's been on repeat on my computer.



The amazing thing is that the singer, Jasmine Van den Bogaerde aka Birdy is only 14! She's also from the United Kingdom, which makes her even more adorable. Hope you enjoy.

Mini Photoshoot

I did a fun little photoshoot with Esther Bui over the weekend. Had such a great time driving around and exploring different places. This experience definitely took me out of my comfort zone, but I've definitely learned a lot from this driven little lady!

Easter Day

I had a wonderful Easter weekend and hope you all did too! We did some spring cleaning - now that the snow is finally gone (I hope - fingers crossed). I put together a little basket for the niece, had Easter dinner with the family and watched the little one do the Easter egg hunt. It was very enjoyable...

Vintage Faith - Santa Cruz, CA

I visited a church last month in Santa Cruz, CA called "Vintage Faith" and it was just so adorable. This place has art and creativity ingrained in them! The church is extremely vintage with its beautiful architecture and stained glass.

This church has a unique style of ministry that reflects the "vintage" values of the bible.
The name of the church reminded me of a message on Great Faith two weeks ago and it has been such a great encouragement. I thought I'd share it with all of you just in case one may need a little uplift in spirit =)

Faith that Recovers
Great faith has the ability to recover the loss in life, a situation that blew up, disasters, or seasons in life you felt was taken away or lost. Faith can produce results but great faith also trusts when we don't get what we've been praying for. Great faith doesn't exempt from heartache, loss, betrayal or disasters, but great faith has the ability to press through, pursue, and believe that God is going to walk us through.

Snowed IN

I can't believe there's snow in April. We had snow on Friday night so it got very cold and windy...can't do much with weather like that :(

Our day...
I did a little Easter shopping early in the morning and made fried rice for lunch.

The husband and I went to church. These pictures are part of the Youth Center that was built in at our church. It looks very cool! There's a stage with a lounge and a cafe/hang out area.

We hung out at Barnes & Nobles afterward. The husband was working on his laptop and I was looking at some of my favorite magazines and sipping on my favorite tea from Starbucks :)

Women's Weekend

I had the privilege to join the Olson Women's Retreat last weekend for the first time and I have to say it was time well spent. Being able to engage with all the family members, sharing stories and just having fun was very rejuvenating.
